So here we go...
First off, we never shared our first exciting week in Buenos Aires with two dear friends - Dee and Sean. They had planned their vacation to Argentina before knowing we were moving out here and ended up extending their stay to ensure the four of us had time together (yes, they are that wonderful). We also have Dee and Sean to thank for their excellent tips on Calafate and El Chalten. Thank you for such a wonderful first week, Dee and Sean.
We have been blessed with several other visitors along the way, including my fabulous friends
Ian, Jason , Jenise and most recently, Zack's sister Jen. She was a delight to host and Zack and I felt like we had a personal stylist in-house (Jen has a great sense of fashion aside from being gorgeous in her own right).

I would be completely remiss if I did not mention one facet of Buenos Aires that is particularly close to my heart - my lovely Argentine family. Each member has been so incredibly kind to me and Zack and has really taken us in with love and generosity. Tia Beba and Tio Miguel, in particular, have made this experience one we will never forget. Whether it was learning canasta at their country club, chatting in castellano over wine at their house, getting tango lessons in our tiny flat or simply cruising around Buenos Aires via Tio's hilariously dangerous driving, our times spent with Beba and Miguel are more precious than I can describe. I love my family dearly here, and I love them even more for treating the man I love with kindness and as a part of our family.

Our last four months have been painted with many other memories -- cooking with chimichurri, watching tv en espanol, on a hunt for a down-home breakfast, tango lessons, wine tasting, working from cafes, a day at the zoo and evenings of Latin pop, modern dance and bossa nova. I know Zack and I wake up each day feeling so very lucky. I hope we can one day share many of these places, flavors and experiences with each of you reading this in Argentina, together.
